Performance Tips
The default app settings are adequate to get good results for most sounds and songs. In some cases, you may find the analysis views to be too sparse, noisy, ambiguous or inaccurate.

Audio Level
If there is little activity on the audio meter, the audio level is too low.

- Microphone: Move your device closer to the sound source.
- Song Library: Choose another song.
Spectrum Detail
If the Spectrum view is too sparse:
If some partials on the Spectrum view are too faint:
If the Spectrum view is noisy:
- Boost the Analysis Sensitivity setting, or
- Choose a sound source with better tonal qualities.
If some partials on the Spectrum view are too faint:
- Boost the Analysis Compression setting.
If the Spectrum view is noisy:
- Lower the Analysis Sensitivity setting, or
- Lower the Analysis Tempo setting.
Pitch and Detune Estimates
If pitch and detune estimates are inaccurate:
If pitch estimates are ambiguous:
- Adjust the tuning reference to match that of the sound source, either via the Tuning view or the Analysis Tuning setting.

- Set the Analysis Mode setting to Perceptual.
